We are lucky to have Dan Brown join us this year as our new head coach.
"My tennis career started at a very young age and am very lucky to have been to and seen some amazing places.
My goal is to encourage others to get into this sport, which has brought me so much and changed my life.
Tennis has been apart of my life for 23yrs and during that time my experience comes from international players/coaches that I have been involved with along the way.
Each player is different and I tend to each players needs. I will mould each player into the best that they can be.
I will provide a friendly and welcoming experience for all members of the community. I will try to promote and increase participation in interclub/tennis trips to local tournaments and every other coaching programme.
Everyone is capable of growing and thats why its such a great process.
I get great enjoyment coaching all levels and I am sure this will continue here at Pakuranga".

"I started playing tennis at the age of 4 and enjoyed playing competitively from the age of 12 through regional and national competitions.
After university and travelling the world playing socially I returned to New Zealand to pursue tennis competitively. I fell in love with coaching and encouraging others to play. Seeing players progress is extremely rewarding and with a sharp eye and understanding of the game from all aspects, I have developed a large range of players. I am currently completing my ITF Level 1 Junior Development Certificate through which I am learning many skills to add to my programme".
